Visitor Policy

Classroom Visitation Guidelines (Wednesdays ONLY)

Please call the office ahead of time if you would like to visit our classrooms.  The following are the visitation guidelines:

  1. Sign in the visitor binder and take a visitor badge.
  2. Do not knock on classroom doors - enter rooms quietly and sit in designated location.
  3. Do not talk to children or the classroom teacher. Respect instruction/learning protocols.
  4. Teachers are not available for questions at the time of your visit or at recess. If you wish a conference, make an appointment in the office.
  5. Limit your visit to no more than 20 minutes in a classroom.
  6. No children may visit the classroom.
  7. Visitors are limited to two adults per class during a visitation period. If two visitors are already in the classroom, please visit another room for which you had made an appointment during the same time period, or return to the office for instructions.

Visiting Campus…

ALL VISITORS ON CAMPUS or entering classrooms as volunteers or meeting with teachers MUST sign in at the office and obtain a visitor’s name tag when school is in session.  For the safety of all, we need to know who is on campus.  The only exceptions are at student arrival and dismissal times, when you may wait outside classrooms.  If you are taking your child out of school for any reason, you MUST come to the office to sign your child out.  The office will call the classroom for your child.  If your child returns to school the same day, you must come to the office and sign him/her back in.  Leave lunches for students in the bucket in front of the office.  DO NOT take lunches to classrooms.
